An Unquiet Grave

An Unquiet Grave 2/4

Meticulously preserved by the Bristol Archives, these documents of planning permissions and building records refer to a port city built largely on the back of the booming slave trade which was the source of Bristol’s dazzling wealth for 200 years. The books are preserved as fastidiously as the information is withheld from the country’s collective memory, history curriculum and contemporary media.
