Lost and Found

Lost and Found

The canal that runs through and cuts the city of Lahore is its main artery and speaks of the sorrows and shame of the city as much as its pleasures. This figurative work came out of the continued disappearances orchestrated by the state, millions of people declared “missing” across the country,  sometimes found in derelict parts of the city, in mortuaries or afloat in this much loved canal.
