Lucky Irani Circus, shifts between painting and sculpture, ostensibly documenting the everyday, a time and place. The works in this series such as Ode to a Window AC, Hotel Jabees, Memory of a Blue and Ode to a Tubelight, use a specific, deliberate palette, and the device of urban detritus to locate the work geographically as well as in history, evoking collective memory.
