Memory of a Blue, shifts between painting and sculpture. Ostensibly documenting the everyday, a time and place, the works in this series such as Ode to a Window AC, Hotel Jabees, Ode to a Tubelight, Lucky Irani Circus and, use a specific, deliberate palette, and the device of urban detritus to locate the work geographically as well as in history, evoking collective memory.
